Job Title:
Trainer – Electrical / Electronics
Location: Gurugram
Skill Development Centre (On-site)
Job Summary:
The Junior Mechanic – Electrical/Electronics Trainer will be responsible for delivering practical and theoretical training to students under skill development programs. The trainer will ensure learners gain industry-relevant knowledge, hands-on skills, and workplace readiness in electrical and electronics trades.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver classroom and hands-on training in Electrical and/or Electronics trades as per approved curriculum.
- Demonstrate safe use of tools, equipment, and electrical/electronic components.
- Train students on basic electrical wiring, circuits, motors, panels, electronic components, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct assessments, practical tests, and maintain trainee performance records.
- Ensure training quality, discipline, and adherence to safety norms.
- Maintain training lab, tools, machines, and inventory.
- Support mobilization, attendance tracking, and student engagement activities.
- Coordinate with the Center Manager and project team for reporting and reviews.
- Assist students with basic employability skills and placement readiness.
- Follow guidelines of the skill development program, SSC/NSDC standards (if applicable).
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of Electrical and/or Electronics fundamentals
- Practical training and demonstration skills
- Good communication and student-handling ability
- Basic documentation and reporting skillsAwareness of safety standards and workplace practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITI (Electrician / Electronics Mechanic) / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics
1–3 years of industry or training experience - Experience in skill development programs (NSDC/SSC/CSR projects preferred)
Trainer Certification (ToT) is an added advantage
Other Requirements: - Willingness to work with youth and beginners
- Ability to manage lab sessions and practical workshops
