Open Positions:

1). Zonal Coordinator- 05 (each Zonal Coordinator to manage all 4-6 districts of their zone)

• Zone-1: Palamu (Districts- Gadhwa, Latehar, Palamu, and Chatra)
• Zone-2: Giridih (Districts-Hazaribad, Giridih, Bokaro, Dhanbad, Kodarma, and Deoghar)
• Zone-3: Godda (District- Godda, Dumka, Jamtara, Sahebganj, and Pakur)
• Zone-4: Ranchi (Districts- Ranchi, Ramgarh, Gumla, Lohardaga, and Simdega)
• Zone-5: Jamshedpur ( Districts- East Singhbhum (Jamshedpur), West Singhghum (Chibasa), Saraikela, and Khuti)

2). District Coordinators-24 (all 24 districts) – District coordinator to manage their respective district(s).

Engagement Overview:
There is a great opportunity for dynamic, enthusiastic, and experienced professionals to join Ei as Zonal/District Coordinator for managing assessment project’s operations in government schools across Jharkhand.

The Zonal and District Coordinators will ensure the successful implementation and completion of Ei’s assessment project within their designated zone/district(s). The aspirant will be responsible for planning, hiring, training, managing operations, and making arrangements to ensure high-quality data collection.

This short-term engagement will also need their daily travel (within the district) effective coordination with multiple stakeholders, team supervision, tracking project progress, and reporting. The selection will be based on the candidate’s experience and performance in the interview.

The role may also require fieldwork and travel across the assigned district(s). Candidate must
have their own vehicle for local travel during the project. If you get selected, after the successful completion, you will receive an Experience Certification from Ei.

Qualification: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Education/Social work e.g. MSW, BSW, B.Ed., M.Ed.

Experience: Minimum 2-3 Years of Experience in managing projects on the ground (preferred in educational assessment projects), training, hiring, team management, proficiency in using Excel for data tracking and reporting, using Google Sheets/Forms/spreadsheet, and monitoring.

Desired: Own conveyance and laptop, knowledge of area and route mapping, excellent verbal and written communication, understanding of the education department and its function, operation management,

Language(s): Hindi, English, and local language
Duration: 1-1.5 Months (from March 2025)

Major Roles & Responsibilities:

• Owning projects, planning, preparations, and execution of the assigned project with high quality within the given timeline.
• Hiring, training, managing, and monitoring ground teams for respective zones/Districts as per Ei processes and systems.
• Maintaining strong communication with DEO, BEO, HMs, district, block, and school officials, and all relevant stakeholders to ensure smooth operations as per the process set by Ei.
• Managing training logistic arrangements (booking venue, accommodation, training preparations etc.) and conducting District Level training for the field team with an NSP of 90 and more.
• Taking care of logistical operations for the assessment process, including transportation and resource management, ensuring materials and tools are distributed and collected in a timely manner as communicated by Ei.
• Prompt troubleshooting of any/all operational and logistical challenges to ensure smooth operations on the ground
• Ensuring accurate and timely collection of assessment data from all sampled schools, conducting quality checks to ensure consistency, reliability, and accuracy of the data.
• Identify, address, and inform Ei of any discrepancies or issues during data collection and post-assessment reviews to maintain data integrity.
• Acting as the point of contact of Ei for issues, queries, or challenges arising on the ground during the project execution.
• Ensuring data confidentiality and maintaining ethical standards of Ei.
• Sending daily and weekly data updates and conducting calls with district coordinators/Field
• Evaluators to ensure smooth communication and timely progress.

Compensation:

Zonal Coordinators: Rs.30,000/per month, and District Coordinators: Rs.20,000/per month + Conveyance.
