Role:

The Program Manager will be responsible for the successful establishment and ongoing operation of a new center dedicated to training truck drivers on Road safety. This role requires a highly motivated and organized individual with experience in program development and management.

Responsibilities:

Center Establishment:
Develop a comprehensive plan for the new training center, including facility selection/procurement, equipment acquisition, and staffing needs.
Oversee the build-out and outfitting of the training center, ensuring compliance with all regulations and safety standards.
Develop and implement training strategies to attract potential truck drivers.
Program Management:
Design and implement a comprehensive Road Safety training curriculum that meets all industry standards requirements.
Manage the budget for the training center, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance management of instructional staff.
Develop and maintain quality assurance procedures to ensure the effectiveness of the training program.
Monitor project progress and completion rates, identifying areas for improvement.
·       Management and Reporting:

o  Recruit, and manage a team of qualified instructors and support staff.

Develop and implement a system for tracking truck drivers progress, program outcomes, and performance metrics.
Prepare regular reports on program activities, performance, and budget for stakeholders.
Manage all administrative aspects of the training center, including record keeping, truck driver’s enrollment, and data analysis.
Communication & Mobilization:
Develop and maintain effective communication channels with stakeholders, Head Office, instructors, industry partners, and government agencies.
Conduct outreach activities to promote the center and its programs to the target audience.
Lead the mobilization of resources to ensure program delivery runs smoothly.
Specialized Training:
Oversee the integration of Yoga and Financial Literacy training into the curriculum for driver well-being and financial empowerment.
Collaboration:
Build strong relationships with transportation companies and industry associations to understand their needs and tailor training programs accordingly.
Explore potential partnerships to enhance the program offerings.
Events Management:
Organize and manage events such as open houses, Family connect for truck drivers, and industry networking events.
Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in program development, management, or a similar field.
Proven experience in establishing and managing new programs.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in the transportation industry or related field is a plus.
