About PPES
Founded in the year 2000 by Virendra (Sam) Singh, former President and Managing Director of DuPont South Asia. PPES is presently working with around 4000 girls and about 12,000 women in across 120 villages in and around Anupshahr town in Western Uttar Pradesh. The objective is the social upliftment and economic empowerment of the girls and women in this region. PPES’ interventions are in the fields of Education (Formal School & Higher Education), Health & Hygiene, and Women
Empowerment and Economic Empowerment. With the ultimate aim of ensuring financial independence for these girls and women, PPES also ensures that they are equal and contributing members of their families and communities. Education is the cornerstone of the organization’s goal to alleviate poverty and create a fair and gender-just society.

About You/Requirements for the Vacancy
We are seeking a passionate and creative Drawing Teacher to teach visual arts to students in grades 9 through 12. The ideal candidate should have experience in teaching art, inspiring creativity, and integrating local culture and global art practices into the curriculum. The teacher will play a key role in nurturing the artistic potential of students and contributing to their holistic development.
The Role & Responsibilities:
- Teach drawing, painting, and visual art techniques to students in grades 9–12, using age-appropriate methods
- Develop and implement a structured art curriculum aligned with national education standards and PPES values.
- Encourage creativity, originality, and self-expression through various art mediums (pencil, charcoal, watercolour, mixed media, etc.).
- Organize and conduct workshops, art competitions, exhibitions, and community-based art projects.
- Integrate life skills and value education through art-based activities.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with other faculty and participate in school activities, celebrations, and community outreach initiatives.
- Manage art supplies and ensure materials are used responsibly.
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts / Visual Arts or a related field (BFA preferred).
- Teaching certification/diploma (preferred but not mandatory).
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience at the secondary level.
- Proficiency in various art forms and media.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Hindi is essential; basic English proficiency preferred.
- A passion for working in rural communities and contributing to social change through education.
