Job Title: Community Mobilizer – Skill Development Project

Location:

Project Overview:

The Skill Development Project aims to enhance employability and livelihood opportunities for youth, women, and marginalized communities through vocational training and skill-based programs. The Community Mobilizer will be responsible for community outreach, beneficiary mobilization, and ground-level implementation of project activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct community outreach and awareness activities for skill development programs
• Mobilize youth, women, and eligible beneficiaries for training and enrollment
• Coordinate with local stakeholders such as Panchayats, community leaders, SHGs, NGOs, and institutions
• Organize community meetings, orientation sessions, and awareness camps
• Support beneficiary registration, documentation, and attendance tracking
• Maintain daily field reports and mobilization records
• Assist in baseline surveys, need assessments, and follow-up visits
• Motivate beneficiaries to complete training programs
• Support placement or self-employment linkages after training
• Work closely with trainers and project coordinators for smooth implementation

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Must own a two-wheeler (bike)
2. A valid driving license is compulsory
3. Willingness to travel daily within the project and community areas

Qualifications & Experience:

• Graduate preferred
• 1–3 years of experience in community mobilization, skill development, or social sector projects
• Good communication skills in the local language and basic English
• Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, or mobile-based data collection tools
• Familiarity with government skill schemes (NSDC, PMKVY, DDU-GKY, etc.) will be an added advantage
