As we continue to expand our impact, we are looking for a dynamic and driven Manager (Innovation) to join our team and lead the development and implementation of new programs that align with our mission.

Key Responsibilities

1. Opportunity Identification and Research (20%)

• Research potential funding opportunities, partnerships, and innovations that align with organizational goals.
• Conduct landscape analyses to identify underserved communities and areas for intervention.
• Research and identify emerging opportunities, trends, and best practices
• Evaluate market trends, policy changes, and socioeconomic factors to enhance program relevance and effectiveness.

2. Program Development and Planning (20%)

• Identify, conceptualize, and design new programs to promote microentrepreneurship-based livelihoods.
• Conduct needs assessments and feasibility studies to inform program design.
• Develop detailed execution plans, timelines, and budgets for program rollout.

3. Communication (30%)

• General – website updates, social media planning and execution
• Strategic – building decks and concept notes for outreach
• Support the build-out and deployment of a tech platform (30%)
• Manage timelines, budgets, requirements, testing, reporting

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social sciences, development studies, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience: 2+ years in program management, project execution, or a related role, preferably in the nonprofit or development sector. Passion and interest in working in the impact sector are required. Experience working with government institutions at any level is a plus.
Proven expertise in new program development and execution planning.
Demonstrated ability to conduct research, identify opportunities, and incorporate findings into actionable strategies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to changing needs and priorities.
