Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Botanical Expertise: – Conduct botanical surveys, identifying plant species, and assessing their ecological significance. – Analyze vegetation data and prepare reports documenting findings. – Provide expertise on plant biology, taxonomy, and habitat requirements.
2. Site Supervision: – Oversee field operations and activities related to botanical surveys and ecological assessments. – Coordinate and manage field teams, ensuring efficient deployment and utilization of resources. – Implement health, safety, and environmental protocols to maintain compliance with regulations.
3. Project Management: – Plan and execute field surveys and monitoring programs according to project timelines and objectives. – Develop sampling methodologies and data collection protocols. – Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and report on milestones and outcomes.
4. Client and Stakeholder Communication: – Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to communicate project goals, methodologies, and results. – Address concerns, provide technical advice, and ensure project requirements are met.
5. Environmental Compliance: – Ensure adherence to environmental laws, regulations, and permit requirements. – Mitigate environmental impacts through effective planning and implementation of conservation measures.
