About Infrastructure Skill Development Academy (ISDA):
Infrastructure Skill Development Academy (ISDA) is a Section 8 not-for-profit company established
in 2013. We work as a trusted CSR implementation partner for leading corporates and PSUs across
India. Our interventions span Education, Health, Skill Development, Women Empowerment, and
Integrated Village Development Projects, positively impacting more than 20,000 beneficiaries to
date. Guided by our core values of Innovation & Integration, ISDA designs and delivers grass roots level
initiatives that create measurable social impact.
About Disha Centre:
Disha is an ambitious and forward-thinking initiative designed to create a robust ecosystem of
educational support for schools, teachers, students, and the wider community. With a strong emphasis
on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education, Disha aims to empower
young learners and educators through hands-on learning experiences that foster a deep understanding
of these critical fields. By cultivating curiosity and creativity, Disha aims to nurtures a mindset geared
toward solving real-world problems and contributing to sustainable development. Disha also attempts
to integrate competitive exam preparation through integrating digital education, life skills and career
counselling into its framework. Through specialized coaching and mentorship, students are equipped to
excel in academic and professional entrance examinations. Simultaneously, personalized career
guidance helps them navigate future opportunities with confidence and clarity.
Aligned with the New Education Policy, Disha emphasizes holistic, multidisciplinary learning that
nurtures critical thinking and prepares students for meaningful careers, positioning itself as a catalyst
for educational and community transformation.
Job Description: Roles and Responsibilities
• Provide career guidance and counselling to students enrolled at the Education Centre.
• Assess students’ interests, skills, and aspirations to help them choose suitable career paths.
• Conduct counselling sessions, workshops, and group discussions on career development.
• Support trainees with resume writing, interview preparation, and job readiness skills.
• Maintain individual counselling records and prepare periodic reports.
• Collaborate with trainers, placement teams, and mobilization staff to ensure student success.
• Build and maintain relationships with industry partners to create awareness of career opportunities.
• Encourage students to pursue higher studies, vocational training, or job opportunities based on
their interests.
Desired Profile:
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or related field.
• 0-1 years of experience in student counselling, career guidance, or related roles.
• Strong communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and guide students towards career and personal development.
