FOR AFTER SCHOOL SUPPORT PROGRAMME (Classes 9-12)

For Classes 9th – 12th; 3:00 PM – 7:30 PM for Maths IIT & JEE Educator at Sector 37 Noida

Role Overview: A Mathematics Educator or Tutor for IIT & JEE Preparation is responsible for delivering high-quality instruction and support to students aiming to excel in mathematics for competitive exams. The role involves teaching advanced mathematics concepts, preparing students for the rigorous demands of IIT-JEE, and providing strategic guidance to enhance problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Instruction & Teaching:

Conduct engaging and effective lessons in advanced mathematics topics including Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Differential Equations.
Explain complex mathematical concepts in a clear and accessible manner, utilizing various teaching aids and techniques.
Foster an interactive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

2.Curriculum Design:

Develop and regularly update comprehensive lesson plans, study materials, and practice exercises tailored to the IIT-JEE syllabus.
Create and implement a structured curriculum that aligns with exam patterns and helps students build a solid mathematical foundation.

3.Assessment & Evaluation:

Design and administer quizzes, tests, and mock exams to assess students’ understanding and progress.
Analyze assessment results to identify areas of strength and weakness, providing targeted feedback and additional resources as needed.

4.Student Support & Mentoring:

Offer individualized support to address students’ specific learning needs and challenges.
Provide mentorship and motivation, helping students develop effective study habits and confidence for the exams.

5.Exam Strategy & Preparation:

Teach strategies for tackling different types of problems and managing time effectively during exams.
Guide students through past years’ papers and sample questions to familiarize them with the exam format and question types.

6.Research & Professional Development:

Stay abreast of changes in IIT-JEE exam patterns, syllabi, and educational trends.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching methods and mathematical knowledge.

Qualifications:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in education or mathematics are advantageous.
Experience: Previous experience in teaching or tutoring mathematics at a level relevant to IIT-JEE preparation is preferred.
Skills: Strong proficiency in advanced mathematics, excellent communication and teaching skills, and the ability to motivate and engage students effectively.

These positions require daily teaching except non-working Saturday and Sundays. Candidate should be open to teaching in Physical mode only, staying within Noida and preferably close to the Centre location. Candidates with experience only should apply. Those with experience with an NGO would be given preference.

Salary will be commensurate as per the relevant experience & qualification of the candidate and as per NGO/social sector standards.
