Regional Placement Manager role
Salary-75000 PM+TA=Mobilie reimbursement
Responsibilities
§ Work with the centre manager and support him/her to enable youth to achieve the skills training, mentoring and employer activities outlined in their individual Personal Development Plans.
§ Work with the centre manager to Engage and motivate youth positively at all times ensuring youth are aware of their weekly timetables and attend the correct sessions. –.
§ Support Center Managers to deliver a sharp focus on achieving successful youth placements in work, training or further education and supporting youth to sustain these for 6 months.
§ Create partnerships with employers who can offer youth potential job placements, work experience and workplace visit opportunities.
§ Building, sustaining and maintaining strategic partnership with new and existing recruiters in various industry verticals for Final Placements, Internships, Guest lectures and other possible collaborations.
§ Maintaining Recruiter database
§ Preparing and presenting periodical reports about placement progression.to the RD and the national head
§ Developing contacts through Participating in HR Conferences, NHRD Meets, Industrial Exposure etc
§ Prepare calendar for the job drives and employer connect based on the program planning sheet .,
§ Coordinating with the program managers and organising Job drives
§ Conducting employer due diligence before on boarding the employers
§ Generating leads and supporting the program team to ensure timely placement
§ Broker partnerships with external training organisations and colleges that will enable youth to achieve their desired job or education outcome.
§ Create and follow clear referral processes with training partners and employers.
§ Generate leads for potential employer and
§ Support youth after their placements to ensure that they retain their engagement and sustain themselves in work or education placements for up to 6 months. – repetition
§ Work with colleagues in the at district and regional level to continuously improve the quality of Magic Bus Livelihoods (employment and training) and ensure our work is always safe and enjoyable.
§ Act as a role model at all times demonstrating behaviour that displays the characteristics youth should develop to be successful in their chosen field.
§ Generate high volume of live employment opportunities for the youths
§ Support Head Placement to generate lead of top 20 employers for Magic Bus
Desired competencies
§ Ability to build positive relationships with youth and motivate individuals to achieve defined targets of taking up work or further education.
§ Strong partnership building credentials with ability to tailor style and methods when working with employers (and employee volunteers), training partners, specialist organisations.
§ Excellent team worker with strong oral and written communication skills including good level of professional English.
§ Can-do attitude and willingness to use own initiative to solve ground level problems
§ Well organised working style with excellent time management skills.
§ Ability to collect and process delivery evidence and data in line with key performance indicators for the programme
Qualification and experience
§ Bachelors/ Masters in Business Administration, Social sciences or similar qualification.
§ 6-8 years of work experience in working with young people, employers in the skill development ecosystem
§ Thorough understanding various sectors
§ Relevant degree or similar professional qualification from a reputed institution.
§ Experience of working with young people in the age group of 18-25 years from disadvantaged communities
§ Knowledge of youth needs with regard to progressions into work or further education.
§ Experience of partnership working including referrals and monitoring partner delivery.
§ Experience of either employability skills, job placement, youth development or vocational training programmes either directly or indirectly
§ Experience of reviewing progress against individual’s training programme targets
§ Experience of engaging with wider stakeholders in disadvantaged communities including parents, schools, colleges, panchayats.
