About Infrastructure Skill Development Academy (ISDA)
Infrastructure Skill Development Academy (ISDA) is a not-for-profit organization registered
under Section 08 of the Companies Act, 1956, with 80G and 12A certifications. Established
in 2013, ISDA works across various states and has impacted 20,000+ beneficiaries in
Education, Health, Women Empowerment, Integrated Village Development, and Skill
Development.
ISDA is implementing the Surajpur Wetland Conservation & Community Engagement
Project with ASSOCHAM Foundation for CSR (AFCSR), engaging 8 schools and 4 villages
and reaching over 3,500 direct beneficiaries through awareness, cleanliness, birdwatching,
and conservation activities.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
• Visit 4 villages and 8 schools to mobilize students, teachers, Panchayat members, and
community stakeholders for all project activities.
• Obtain necessary approvals and permissions from:
o Sarpanch / Panchayat representatives of all 4 villages.
o DEO / BSA / school authorities for conducting school awareness sessions,
competitions, and field visits.
• Coordinate with school management, Panchayat offices, Forest Department, and other
authorities for smooth implementation of all activities.
• Conduct door-to-door mobilization, village meetings, and community interactions to
raise awareness about wetland conservation.
• Support school awareness sessions, competitions (poster making, essay, quiz), and
community workshops.
• Mobilize students, villagers, and volunteers for all field activities including:
o Cleanliness drives (2 per month)
o Birdwatching trips
o Water and wetland-related educational activities
o Social media campaigns2
o Mega Event on World Wetlands Day – February 2nd
• Maintain attendance, field reports, photographs, and documentation for MIS and
monitoring.
• Ensure active participation from:
o 3,000 students (8 schools)
o 500 villagers & Panchayat members (4 villages)
• Assist in conducting surveys, baseline/endline assessments, and reporting.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with community leaders, teachers, SHGs, youth
clubs, and local influencers.
• Support the Project Officer in organizing events, volunteer engagement, and public
communication.
• Ensure delivery of assigned tasks within timelines and quality standards.
Desired Profile
• Graduation in any Social Work field (BSW/MSW preferred).
• Minimum 1 year experience in community mobilization, NGO fieldwork, education,
or environmental/social projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Hindi required.
• Comfortable with field travel within Greater Noida, villages, and wetland areas.
• Good organizing, documentation, and coordination abilities.
